I love our clear, dark skies in alberta. whatever the adventure, it always seems slightly more wondrous under the mystique of a star studded backdrop. our stars provide a fantastical sense of time and place, and a wealth of stories throughout the cultures who perceive them. banff has some of the darkest skies on our planet, and it would be a shame to take them for granted.
